I am doing a story and called a place in Alberta... A P-R guy called me back. I recognized his name.
Turns out he's a guy I hung out with sometimes in New Brunswick five years ago.... ain't seen him since.
This shit happens to me ALL THE TIME

I've had similar.. once i was in Toronto hoping on a go train to a place i have never been to visit relatives. I had just bought a ton of dark room equipment and must of looked like a fool walking around with three bags and a enlarger sticking out of a duffel bag.
a girl kept looking at me and finally asked me if i needed help, which i gladly accepted.. then after getting on the train and talking i found out that she was dating a friend of mine who recently moved to toronto..
it happens a lot.
The best story like that is about my grandfather. Before he was captured by the Germans in ww2 he fell in love with a lady in London. he was in a pow camp for over a year and a half and when he got out he went back looking for her, found her and also found out she had a baby and the guy had ditched her. He offered to move her to Canada and get married but she did not want to leave. Last year the ladys husband pasted away and one of her last wishes was to meet my grand father again. She got in contact with the archives of the regiment he was in and they contacted my mother.. it turned out the person who was contacted my mom was her old neighbor she had not seen since she was a kid.. so we had two reunions in one (well.. she never did get to meet my grandpa, grandma would not allow it.. jealous lady i guess.. but they still came and we had dinner with them.
