1. I wonder if they'll put a hatchet job like NBC did in 2001?
I agree, it is the best show ever.

I love that show.

Favorites for me;

The Godfather parody (absolute best episode ever)
SCTV gets taken over by the Russians
The Tubes on the Fishin' Musician

8. No kidding, those tapes traded like crazy.
On volume 3, there is a missing skit, "Stairways to Heaven". I'd kill for that one.

21. yeah the Tubes was one of my faves too
I was also very fond of "The Merv Griffith Show." A perfect, surreal blend of TWO of the best shows ever.

23. That was great. Levy did a pre and post stroke Floyd in that one.
He had the best Floyd the barber impersonation.

24. I loved the one where the Russians take over SCTV
"how many countries fit inside mother Russia" game show was friggin brillant: "lone star state? More like Lone Star Joke! It is just a tiny star against the vast sky of Mother Russia." and "Australia: full of capitalist convicts and kangaroos."

I'm still surprised that they had got away with "Cruising Gormet" with Dave Thomas as Al Pacino.
