Name five well-known people who share your religious beliefs.
Edited on Sat Mar-19-05 10:23 AM by ih8thegop
For my fellow Christians out there, name five people of your denomination. So, if you're Presbyterian, name five prominent Presbyterians; if you're Lutheran, identify five Lutherans; etc.

If someone else has posted five names from your religion, try to think of five more.

They can be living or deceased, and they don't have to be political figures, but they may be.

I'll start. I'm Catholic, as are/were:

Mother Teresa
Cynthia McKinney
John Kerry
Dennis Kucinich
Dick Durbin

(I can think of so many more ;-))

I Googled "famous Lutherans", but I would need to know what synod they were before I knew if they shared my religious philosophy.

Edited to add, though, that I'm tossing William H. Macy into my list right now. I'm guessing he's a member of a more liberal synod. Adding Gretchen Carlson too. She's from MN (like me), and she's an ELCA Lutheran.

I'm not particularly a Lutheran or a Presbyterian.

I am a run of the mill Protestant--personally I think there are too many splinter groups.

I guess Jimmy Carter....um...his wife.... :silly:

Famous pagans.

OK, Winston is a bit of a stretch but he was made a member of The Ancient Order of Druids. Anthony Quinn is my favorite tree hugging Druid.
