Nobody posts "DUPE" anymore |
|
I used to see that all the time in LBN until, I dunno, this year.
I thought it was borderline rude to remind others so tersely but now I don't see it anymore. Is it b/c the mods are combining threads quicker?

2. I do it when I see one |

I don't consider it rude. I consider it rude that so many newbies to the site simply click through the LBN Rules warning page and post away.
Of course, posting duplicate threads in LBN is significantly less rude than posting non-LBN in LBN.
BTW, I've posted duplicate items in LBN myself, since it can be so damn hard to wade through there. I don't take offense when someone tells me its a dupe--unless it in fact isn't a dupe (as happened the other day). :sigh:
