I love every movie that he's been in and have loved his performances. He's not John Gielgud by any stretch, and he's good only at playing a couple types of roles, but he's fucking wonderful at it, unlike Tom Cruise who can only play one role, and sadly sucks at that.

I'm watching that movie he did with that guy from Friends (dumbass show) in which Willis plays a hitman.

Fuckin' hilarious, and Willis is SUPERB in this!

3. That's it! Whole Nine Yards!
And he was excellent in Fifth Element, and in the M. Knight Shamalyan movies, and the Die Hard movies, and Moonlighting, and, well, everything I've seen him in.

6. Never saw 5th Element... or M. Knight Shamalyan movies. I am not
a fan of Die Hard, but I see the 'appeal', I guess... I'll take ALL of his flicks over a single Kevin Costner POS ANY fuggin day! :puke:

11. 5th Element was lame. Avoid it.
(Disregard this message if you're an admirer of the beautiful female form)

14. Lame?! No fucking way!! It was totally the opposite of lame!
It was brilliant, and totally and unconscionably derided by stupid ass critics.

An excellent, incredible film.

23. It WAS a great movie but...
had I been the director I'd have made 2 small changes:

1. the mangalors (sp) should have been a little less silly and bit more serious.

2. the fight scene between Lilu and the mangalors shouldn't have had that little cartoonish comical fight sequence like something out of rated G cartoon. Had the director made that seen a bit "Matrix-ish" and kept it serious the effect would have been better and a more "cool yet serious" tone.

I have friends who liked the movie up to that point and then made a "WTF kinda face" at that scene.

24. 5th Element and any M. Night Shyamalan movies are all quite horrible
But he was good in Pulp Fiction.

2. Dunno who said it
But one lib blogger said something about Bruce Willis like "I cannot bring myself to truly hate anyone who was in Pulp Fiction."

4. I usually hate those kinds of movies,
the action flicks he does so well, but I always like him in them. I LOVE the Fifth Element, both he and Gary Oldman.

8. I don't judge their eventual artistic value, either.
It's just that I avoid giving them money and/or box office stats, that's all.

Probably one of the most intelligent movies of the decade.

Almost, but not quite, of an Orson Wellesian level oif brilliance.

16. You know, I don't for sure. But a lot of DUers are of the opinion
that he's a rightie. I don't really buy it - I think he's more libertarian than he is an asshole freeper fuckfilth. But many at Du are convinced he must be an asshole freeper fuckfilth for some reason.

And, therefore, they think he's a "bad actor" becuase of his political leanings. As though political leanings have anything to do with talent.

But then, we also have a lot of juvenile DUers who think that unless you are 100% with their agenda, you are less than human.

21. It's just a vague insinuation I'm seeing...
people are talking LIKE HE IS yet nobody is SAYING that he is. I don't care either way. I'm just wondering.

But being liberatarian is one thing, being a rightie is a little different.

I'm honestly just wondering. I find it interesting to know the politics of famous people.

great quote by Bruce from THe Last Boyscout. I can enjoy an actor's performance regardless of his or her politics.
