I had a Phone rep try and tell me to do something "NOW!" tonight. He actually wrote now in big letters in the e-mail. Needless to say, I am over him and his bosses, and he had his little world ruined. I forwarded his e-mail to his immediate bosses, the manager of his department, and my boss. I got a response from the manager of the department(a friend of mine), he said the rep is being educated right now about e-mail edict, and just where he stands in the pecking order.

I guess it is bad I found that so fulfilling but I did. I hate people who think they are more important than others.


On Edit: The problem he wanted me to fix NOW, was not something that I could fix NOW or ever.

Someone I work with, when he gets e-mails like that -- just responds 'thank you' and then does nothing about it. He says eventually the a-holes get fed up and just leave him alone.
