2. Well, if you're talking about my "go to" channel"...
for "religious" purposes of course, it would have to be a toss-up between the Discovery-Times Channel and PBS. Those are the two that bring me closer to.......you know who. ;)

5. Ha! I know what you mean.
And we have to pay for it monthly, either through cable or sattelite. I'm tired of paying a tithe to the poor, persecuted Christians!

7. Channel 9409, Dish Network: RFD-TV!
Mule pullin's, National FFA Convention coverage, quilting (even if they DO use sewing machines), horse training, and CLASSIC TRACTOR SHOWS (Hell, there's even a monthly call-in show about John Deeres, I shit you not)!

Besides THAT, there are reruns of vintage Wilburn Brothers shows featuring the youngest Loretta Lynn that you have ever imagined and the MIGHTY Harold Morrison on the banjo. Other times, it's The Porter Wagoner Show featuring Dolly Parton, fresh down from the hills and green as grass.

An absolute must-see is The Big Joe Polka Show out of Minnesota. Time stands still and it is a GLORY to behold!

RFD-TV is a gift from Goddess, sent to redeem me from the clutches of Satan (AKA CNN)!!!!

Yea, though I wart through the Valley of thy Shadowy, I shall feed no Norman. And I shall spy in the House Of Love forever, glued to the TV. Hallefalluja!

10. They start at about 700 (I think)
On Sky (British satellitte T.V.).

I can't see them getting much market share over here, I have been known to tune in when I want a good laugh.

11. I like Worship.net
It's on one of my channels late at night. They play contemporary christian music, set to nature scenes of mountains, rivers, etc., and flash scriptures sporadically. It's reallly kind of nice, because it gets it's message through without being obnoxious or in your face.

I'm sure the people who run it are fundamentalists, but this is pretty inclusive and non-judgemental.
