Ma's death is finally hitting me now. I did some retail therapy today.
Its been 10 days since her passing and after the wake/funeral and financial matters, as well as the unsolved mysteries involved with her estate, I'm just now settling in and coming to the realization that she is gone.

Should I take myself and my son out to the Padre game tonight?

1. Once again I am sorry for your loss
By all means, take him out to the game. Get yourself out for a little "off the subject" activity. With all you have went through recently, a ballgame can be just the thing to relieve some of the stress from it all.
Take care.

2. I'm going to get online tix now.
Ma would have wanted me to do so.
Damn! This is turning into something harder than I had anticipated.

5. (((((Maveric)))))) Been there, done that. It sucks.
Pard, there's nothing will help the hurt but time. Remember the good times and think of them instead of the bad.

6. Thanks BikeWriter!
Ma was the one that held the family together when it seemed that everything was about to go to shit. She was in this capacity until after my Dad died in 2000 then it all seemed to take its toll on her.
She was smart, funny, loving, strong and a lifetime dem who knew and campaigned for JFK in 1960.
Man, I miss her!
