We were all sitting in the lobby of the hotel where they were staying, having drinks and talking to some of the other people in the band when Pete got off the elevator (it was a private elevator, so it probably went down about 20 stories, non-stop). It must have made Pete dizzy because when he got of the elevator he came around the corner and bumped into the marble pillar and said, "oh, excuse me."

Needless to say, I laughed at him because, as you pointed out, I have a mean streak. He laughed too and (edit some parts here) we went to the show in his limo.
