Not to get my habit in knot
but I need a drink. I BIG one.

Children, I am one upset Sister right now. The gals and I almost dropped a load in our holy panties when Ratzinger walk out.

I know, I know, as a nun I need show respect to the "new" Pope, but it will take some time and PLENTY of tequila. Rev Mother called from Mexico and she was throwing a fit. I can only imagine what mess she's made back at the convent. She threw the TV out the window last season when that red headed kid stayed on "American Idol" too long last season.

Well, what can ya do? I've got 4 Popes under my belt now, they ain't stopped me yet.

Bless you all my children, we must be off to the airport for out flight back to Mexico.

Chins up, dears! :toast:

XXOOXXOO

Sister Rosa Refried - NUN-thing gonna get me down!

5. Thank you dear.
We can't get out town faster. Those German nun are getting crazy right now. High fives, kissing priest, doing some sort of conga line dance. They need to get out more.

Lord help this town if they run out of beer.

Ta!

"we filed joint returns this year". How can you beat that?

I know sisters Ardeth Platte and Carol Hudson (the nuns in prison for "damaging" Minuteman missiles right now) from their days here in Saginaw. I'd love to drink a beer with Sister Ardeth and have, in fact, knocked back a couple with Sister Carol.
One thing about being Catholic. No one ever says "boo" if you want one or two cold ones after work.
You done good, Sister Rosa. Have a few more in the lounge after you land and send me the bill.

16. Home at last!
Edited on Wed Apr-20-05 01:32 PM by sister_rosa_refried
Well dears, the airplane ride was quite an event.

From Rome we flew Aero Mexico to Madrid, then to Mexico City, then Puerto Vallarta where the convent Nun-mobile picked us up for the drive down the coast to our deloved Chili Verde.

The gals from St. Gina Lola saw us off at the airport and it was very emotional for us. We had spent such quailty time with them gals. Good nuns, very holy and lots of fun. We'll miss them so.

The first leg of the trip from Rome to Madrid was much fun. Everyone on the plane was all asking us what we thought of the new pope. The girls and I made a game out of it. Each time someone asked, we did a shot of tequila. By the time to landed for our connecting flight in Spain, we were hammered.

After a two hour layover, we were off to Mexico City. Some of the Sisters were getting sad. Missing the St. Gina gang and emotional about the death of JP2 and the election of Benny 16. So to lighten up the mood, Sister Clara Vision (who is blind as a bat) starting everyone singing "The Name Game" using names of the popes.

"Pius, Pius, po Pius, banana-rama mo Mius, fee fi fo Fius, PiUS!"

This went on the whole journey over the Atlantic. After we ran out of Pope names we switched to singing Beatles tunes. Children, if you're ever on a long flight and you spot a bunch of nuns, don't bother with the movie. We'll keep you entertained for FREE!

After a quick layover in the capital, we were off to PV. By this point we were dead tired, running out things to do and need of a change of habits. Being it a travel day we didn't have to go full out nun drag and were all sporting our nun-jogging suits w/ a simple head dress and not the Sally Field/Flying Nun type.

Our holy hearts were a flutter as we approached Puerto Vallarta. At last we would set foot on good Mexican soil!

After a quick check at customs (luckly they didn't notice my new Gucci shoes and purse) we were greeted by Rev Mother and Father Juan. Screams of joy! At last to be home!

We piled into the convent nun-mobile and haul holy ass to our convent.

After nearly 14 hours we were home.

This morning (or afternoon) when I got up, I remarked that "I slept like a log".

Sister Ima Puta looked up from her coffee and said "Why not, you look like one?". Smart ass! So good to be home.

Sister Sara missed her two mules. The little darlings.

please keep posting here. You're really a hoot.

Great donkey shot by the way.

Oh and do update us when you have a moment, on how the Reverend Mother's destructive ways altered the convent in light of Rat zingers' ascension.

We all want to know.

25. Thank you sweetness.
Yes dears, Sister plans on expressing herself more.

Oh, as far as Rev Mom and her holy shit fit, as I said it was late when we got home and went right to bed after greeting the Sisters that stayed at the convent and greeted the holy pets (the mules, dogs, cats and various lovely creatures of god).

When I woke and went to breakfast, I noticed:

1. A new television.

2. A new stove (Rev. Mama is a strong ol' gal)

3. New paint in the downstairs bathroom, new sink and commode.

4. Fresh new curtains in the den.

5. Father Juan was sporting a black eye that he tried to hide with make up. (more than he normally wears)

Poor Reverend Mother, I think it's time to up her meds. Good gal, but goes off her rocker rather quick.

I'm keeping my door locked tonight since "American Idol" is on. Still have jet lag, so it's a good think the new TV set has Tivo.

Kisses, kisses, kisses.

Sis Ro Re -- Nun w/ a liberal brand on her ass and proud of it!

like you around, who taught at St. Marys when I grew up I might actually still be a Catholic.;-)

As it was a lot of the teachers who were Nuns whom I really admired ended up leaving their order to go back to become civilians. LOL.

29. Don't make Sister hurl!
Sister prefers to think of these little loves when you speak of rats. One of our dear pets, Chi-Chi and his sister Lu-Lu. Poor things, Sister Wilda Kingdom nursed the little loves back to health. The children in the school just adore them. They both took a big rat poop on my quilt when this picture was taken. But Sister forgave them. I wish the little bastards could pay for the cleaning bill ...... but that's another story.
