Is picking a new trend or something?

So today, I am driving down the road and look over...the guy next to me is picking his nose. I have seen this more and more lately...is this a new trend? Do you pick YOUR nose?

(I tried to decide if this is a bodily function thread, but after consulting with webster's dictionary have determined that picking of the nose is not a bodily function. If I am in error, I humbly apologize)
