Did you know that in 1976 Mego Toys, the company that made all the 8" super hero, movie, TV, and hero figures PASSED on the Star Wars franchise? Seriously, they didn't believe the movie or characters had enough appeal to support a line of toys. They were bankrupt by about 1980-81.
