This is one I've always been wondering about. Does anyone know how to pronounce Tso, as in General Tso's chicken?

I've heard "sow", "chow", and "so", and was hoping to get someone to verify the correct one who has personal knowledge.

Seems almost all the high-ranking generals in South Vietnam were named "Nguyen," so we had to learn to pronounce it as well as spell it. "NOO-yen" (Nguyen Van Thieu, Nguyen Cao Ky, etc.) I was a secretary-stenographer in Army G-2.
