This Lords of Dogtown movie... |

Why? They already did an amazing, comprehensive documentary on the these guys (Dogtown and Z-Boys). Why in god's name do we need a dramatized reinactment of the same story featuring Heath Ledger and whoever the hell else they have starring in this.

Actually I take that back . . . looks like Stacy Peralta is involved. He hasn't had much income since Powell-Peralta lost all it's team to people like Hawk who left to form their own companies.
Stacy probably needed some cash.

Which did very well considering what it's production costs probably were. Same thing with the surfing documentary Riding with Giants. Plus, they still sell quite a bit of the old skating videos he did.
Perlata I would guarantee is in no way hurting for money. He was the smartest businessman of the bunch.The other guys are another story altogether.
