Swiffer wetjet issues...please help!
I forgot how I put this damn thing together and now I don't know how to take it apart for storage. Does anyone remember how it is assembled or how to take it apart? I don't remember using these screws..

6. Per the manual
at http://www.homemadesimple.com/swiffer/usenglish/images/wetjet/swifferownman_booklet.pdf

it can't actually be disassembled. I'm not sure that I really believe them--maybe taking a look at that can give you some ideas.

7. These Internets are fascinating, barackmyworld
Look what Yahoo! found me-I think you might find the directions here and then you can follow them backwards...

15. yeah, that doesn't work
the internets also told me that you are not SUPPOSED to take it apart (which is stupid). I am going to try storing it in a corner of my dorm basement.

9. I bought one and I was unable to get it apart. I took it into a store
and they were unable to get it apart. I emailed the swiffer people several times. They ended up sending me a voucher for a free one.

11. Sorry only have the dry swiffer
and the Clorox mop. I don't take either apart to store them. Why would you take it apart only to put it back together again next time you mop? You will spend more time putting the damn thing together and taking it apart than you do mopping.

12. Some devices are only meant to snap together and stay
that way forever.

Besides, I would guess that the handle isn't the expensive part, it's the replacement pads. At least if they run the operation like a color printer of razor blade kit.

13. Actually the coupon they sent was valued around $20.
Long term their profit is pads.

14. Smash it.
That always worked for me. :)

(The downside to this, of course, is that you have to buy another one somewhere down the road... but, as * would say, you can bomb that bridge when you get to it.)
