I'm normally a complete slob, so the timing of your post right after some much needed cleaning just rocks.

My computer space is the guest room:

I like this one because SarahBelle's work area is clearly on my screen.

The vase on the left has now been moved because it looks like it's about ready to fall. (I have the whole table and put the glass on the very edge...)

125. Thanks
Yes I do record a bit but not as my day gig. A buddy of mine has a local studio and I bring home lots of "assignments" from there to help get bands "that sound" they are looking for and that covers a lot of the musical spectrum.

Personally, I do what the industry likes to call progressive rock. Think Emerson, Wakeman, etc. However, my current project has taken a rather odd turn...

Its starting to sound like Rob D morphed with Crash Test Dummies..... go figure.

Thanks again for the compliment, I wish I could have shown the whole space in more detail. There are a lot of cool toys under and on-top of the desk not to mention details on the keyboards, computers, etc.....

the tower. The other printer (small one) came next. Then came the new tower with two hard drives. Then the keyboard. The thing under the monitor is a scanner. That clear HP one. I've had a lot of fun with it. MrG loves messing with computer components.

Is that a Les Paul Studio in the 2nd pic? My friend had one similar to that but it was a very ugly pukey yellow-green color (), but he sanded off the paint and revarnished the wood and it came out looking awesome in the end.

106. no, it's just an Epiphone Studio copy
Still plays real nice though

Next to it is a 70's reissue Stratocaster with Dave Gilmour's EMG setup. That's what I use most of the time. You can barely see the Line6 pod on the floor which I play them through.

The pics are a year old. I've added to the room since.

111. I have an Epi Les Paul Standard
I love that guitar. Sounds almost as good as a 2,200 $ Gibson les Paul Standard but only cost around 500$. I really dig the Epiphone versions of Gibsons (and epiphones are made by Gibson, just mot hand carved and shit)---almost as good, great looking but only 1/4-1/3 the cost!!
If I was to get a Fender Guitar (which I would like to do soon), I would much prefer a Telecaster to a Strat. For some reason, I cannot handle Strats---too screechy, at least that has been my experience unfortunately. My first electric was a shitty Strat, so maybe I just have a prejuidice....
I am a Bass player foremost though, when I play with other musicians most of the time ( I like to play Chicago style blues)---and I play a Fender P-Bass and a Fender Squier P-Bass Special, which has both Prcision Bass and Jazz Bass pickups.(don't let the fact that it is a cheap Squier fool you---this bass kicks ass and it is my favorite for playing out because the neck is slightly smaller and it doesn't tire out my wrist nearly as badly as a full sized bass) I used to have a Gibson Thunderbird Bass, but I stupidly traded it for my P-Bass, even though it sounded better, but the shape was less friendly. I am saving up for a fretless J-Bass and may sell my P-Bass to get it. I know a bass player who has one and it is real sweet, especially for the stuff I like to play.

That level of fanaticism might be considered normal if I wasn't turning 18 next week.
