I've seen ads for associate degrees, but bachelors is absurd.

2. Asinine, yes. But I bet I know why. |
|
So many people looking for jobs, it's probably just a way for them to limit the number of candidates they have to screen.

3. Fair. Then would they consider |
|
a person with 12+ years of experience but no B-degree?

6. Their job description is identical to what I do. When I downloaded their |
|
supplemental form (9 pages), they asked a few datase-type questions too.
You'd think they'd put that info into the job description, if they're keen on somebody with database abilities.
That might be why they want the B-degree, but the creeps are definitely misleading.

7. Dumb as hell .... but, |
|
thanks to the Shit-for-Brains economy employers now feel that they can be choosy with so many people out work, especially in the IT field. They will try whatever they think they can get away with as long as the economy is in the toilet. And the repukes wouldn't have it any other way.

With the economic reality in this country, pretty soon they'll be requiring degrees everything.

Pity most of us will become the sheep led to the slaughterhouse, but since when is our country the bastion of a "culture of life"?
