How come
Rent-A-Wreck expects you to have auto insurance? If you had the insurance, wouldn't you be likely to already have a car - I certainly wouldn't be going to Rent-A-Wreck for a vacation car in a distant city.

1. We went to Rent-A-Wreck when we needed engine work done
Our car was out of commission for three days or so. Rent-A-Wreck got us to work cheaply (this was back in the days when we only had the one car between us).

it's it's nice that Rent-A-Wreck doesn't require them, but you'd think they'd let me buy insurance for the duration. -- Heck, even take my RV insurance and Scooter insurance and average them :) (there is no auto on the RV)
