*mobile meditation* I really needed that today!

Did you ever have a whole string of days where your plans either didn't work at all :banghead: or it took a lot of tweaking things to make them come out alright

I finally retrieved my trike and went out for a hundred mile ride to blow away some of the :grr: frustrations :eyes:

1. I had all too many of those days.
But at least you have your trike to help. With mine I just go online or for a long long walk, maybe both.

2. usually it's not this nutty
it seems like I'm not getting through to people

I placed an order for all natural celestial shaped gingerbread cookies on Friday. I ask for them to be shipped by overnight delivery to arrive on Saturday ~ as of yesterday ~ the cookies were still in transit

3. Delivery places can vary so much.
Even if you say overnight shipping it still might not be delivered for several days.

4. shipping things can annoying to say the least

Here's another example of one of the things that didn't go exactly right last week ~ I don't know what I was thinking because after two years of emailing with this gentleman I finally agreed to meet him for coffee :banghead: let me just say that he will never become part of my very elite breakfast club

5. How could you have known?
I like going for a long ride when things aren't going my way, too. I'll spontaneously turn this way or that, letting the road take me where it will, without expectations. It reminds me that I need to let my life be as the road; because there's always something to interfere with plans.

Hope you feel better!

6. a new direction, a different view
*sigh* a quiet moment while stopped for a smoke

yes ~ I do feel better. Riding along on 3 wheels takes me totally away from all of the daily aggravations. My mind becomes filled with blue skys, puffy clouds and flowers blooming in gardens as I wander down roads I've never seen before.

~ the best part about today is that it's just the beginning of summer riding time

9. I know how you feel.
When the bad stuff's happening it's easy to forget that it's just stuff. It's not the entirety of our lives. We're more than our jobs and certainly more than any of life's crap we have to deal with from time to time.

10. interesting

my own problems are small ~ merely irritations

it's the biggies that get to me ~ like my house mate's mother going into a nursing home last week ... my words of comfort aren't enough to take away her sadness
