If you have a star and you have logged in, you will find a search button on the page following the home page. It's a tab at the top of the page, five across for me. Click on it and play with it. It has a lot of nice features and IMO, some pretty screwed up features but overall has been very helpful for me. You can search by forum, topic, author and so on.
