Tell us about the best ? of your life |
|
Edited on Tue May-31-05 10:00 PM by LibraLiz1973
Meaning the best ________________ of your life. You fill in the blank.
Was it done to you? Did you do it for yourself? Were you alone or with someone else? Were people watching? Was it painful? (childbirth) Which of your 5 senses was most engaged? Did it cost anything? Have you tried to recreate the moment?
I'll start. I just got the best nights sleep of my life recently. I'd taken my bed apart, vacuumed under it, flipped the mattress- and I sprung for 800 thread count sheets. I also bought a new memory foam 2 inch mattress topper. I also bought 6 brand new pillows. Everything was freshly laundered and smelled like Downy. I had the window open & there was a lovely breeze. As I snuggled into my enormous bed I had a feeling of complete relaxation. I'd say that as far as sensory issues go I was most using the sense of touch (the softness of the bed, sheets, comforter etc- not to mention the cool breeze)- but smell was close behind.
I slept for 13 hours that night.
Edited to add: Yes I have tried to re-create it. I get close but there really has been no match to the first time.
And I would say it cost about $250= memory foam & pillows.

For me it was "What did you learn?"
Had a fantastic manager once who, when we screwed up, instead of going ballistic made us answer "What did you learn?"
Fantastic question applicable to all life's situations, pretty much.

orgasm, right?
Or am I just being perverted again? Seriously, I'm not trying to be snarky. I'm just not sure.

Actually, 99.99% of the time I'm rather boring. I have my moments on occasion however. :)
