He's been out of town since Saturday. Won't get back for a few more days yet. Visiting relatives far, far away.
At first it was cool. No one snoring or wadding up the sheet all on his side.
Now it's not so cool.

9. A McGuinness poem, I believe. |
|
The French resistance was listening to the BBC on June 5, 1944 and that line of poetry was one of the codes letting them know that D-Day was the next day.
How's your friend and the twins? Is everything ok?

Waiting. They might do the c-section today. In fact, strong possibility. So I've got a bag packed. Just waiting on the call.
Yee ha! We get to find out what they are, finally. Wow my melancholy lifted there for a moment. Thanks, GOPisEvil!!! :hi:

Thanks for asking! I can't wait to find out what they are. I was really scared for her yesterday, but she's probably going to be ok. This having babies business can be dicey!

The condition you described is fairly common, so I felt like they would get it under control fairly rapidly. But of course, I couldn't say that yesterday while you were so concerned, it would have appeared unseemly.
YAY! That is awesome news!

18. Aye, I feel it with you at times |

Been 13 months since I've seen my honeybunch. While I enjoy the freedom, it gets tiring after a while.
I once had a roommate that would often go off on scientific journeys for a month or five weeks at a time, and even though we weren't romantically linked at all, after a while I'd come to miss his presence, worry about him, and pine for his return. Oddest thing. Then when he did come back, it was weird because I'd get used to having the place all to myself, and then had an invader. :-) I came to understand what spouses of military personnel were talking about when they'd tell me that the first few days of their spouse coming back was always tense simply because of the "home invader" feeling.
Well, I really went off topic on that one, so I'll stop there.

Mr. Bouncy is out of town, he has Little Bouncy with him (which makes it worse), one of my closest friends is on a trip through the Appalachian (sp?) Mountains with her boyfriend.
Why haven't you seen her in 13 months? That's a damn long time.
Right before I woke up this morning, half-awake, I thought he was still here. And I reached over for him.

I'll get a phone call from her husband once they decide to do the c-section and I'll drive down there, etc etc, then I have a few boards I am going to post the news to, the lounge on DU being one of them.
I can't wait! These are their first. And probably their only kids.
