A regular paycheck (well I would be if I had one)
and
People who love me (progmom hit it out of the park with that one!) but I'll add to it: People who keep on loving me especially when I don't deserve it (because that's when I really need it).
Khash.
Has anyone mentioned today that progmom rocks?

10. a bunch of things I don't deserve.... |
|
I am thankful to have a loving, supportive, intelligent and beautiful wife, to be the proud adoptive father of two wonderful and beautiful cats, to have been raised in a nurturing, functional household that bestowed upon me a love of learning and respect for work. to have been born in a country where prosperity surrounded me, relatively speaking to the great masses of the world who toil tirelessly for precious little boon.

14. The good fortune to have: |
|
- Friends, family and a companion cat who are my tribe.
- Life experiences both painful and joyous.
- Enough courage to speak "foreign" languages poorly but understand them well enough to understand the goodness in the people I meet.
- A sense of gratitude that life is neither perfect nor easy.
