Who's in for a flag-freezing protest? |
|
We rent a freezer, a lot of batteries, put the flag in a tray of water and in the freezer, and start chanting protest songs for two hours or so. Then we take out the flag-embedded slab of ice and break in on the pavement.
Now THAT will be a cool protest!

for a future time when it can be revived to symbolize a nation of hope rather than one of fear, lies and hatred

5. Flag Washing is usually a lot more effective |
|
It emerged as a form of protest a few years ago. Since it is a new form of expression of discontent, and since it is not an act of destruction such as burning, it can be extremely effective.
