I live on the north shore - basically democratic but most people into changing the subject when politics come up.

I was so bummed after the election last fall, really bummed, and feeling kind of isolated out here in suburbia - I discovered DU-- which is wonderful, a place to really connect with thinking people who are concerned. The problem?

I'm kind of addicted now, and have put on 10 lbs and am out of shape.
