I have a soon-to-be five year old (on the 17th). My life revolves around her. Plus, I am one of those hands-on parents so I show up to every school board meeting (starting doing this last year because I knew she would be attending in this district), volunteer for everything in her school and out in the community along w/ the political and issue groups that I belong to.
Of course, we also have our sports, church and such. So it seems like life never slows down even for five seconds.

that at 40 you know yourself well, you are often settled with family and/or career and you have time to really enjoy things. It also seems to be a "sensual" time for many women! I like myself better than ever and appreciate what I am and what I have accomplished. I would recommend the 40s unequivocally. :)

and always had hope for the future that are the most pissed off. It makes total sense to me that older people would be more concerned. We are concerned for ourselves as social security is attacked, and our children and grandchildren, who we always thought would have as good a life or better than ours. I'm definitely going to the first one. This will be my first time to Chicago and I am very excited.
