The Tube Bar Tapes

Years ago, a couple of teenagers started crank calling a NJ dive called "The Tube Bar" and recording their calls on a reel-to-reel machine (yes, that long ago). The tapes these guys made were circulated among friends and played at parties, and inspired both The Jerky Boys and The Simpsons. I heard some of these in college, and the barkeep just SEETHES with rage. Here's a nifty article about it:
