I always view an addiction as a behavior that includes consequences for continued practice of that behavior; dispite knowledge of such.

That said......I smoke cigarettes.

It makes the day go by real fast; it's relaxing to be on DU and to listen to talk radio....I work in an intense atmosphere, everyone is in crisis or containing a crisis 24/7. I don't always have time to play but have the liberty to organize my day as I please. It helps when your the Supervisor.

I share an office with 4 other people, two serious fundies, and since I like their personalities, and they are kind enough not to intrude their beliefs on me, I try to do likewise (though I sometimes pass on a fact or two. But of course, it goes in one ear and out another, since its not coming from FOX or their pastor. Sad to see such young people be so close minded, and worse yet, clinging to beliefs that are so erroneous.)

Oh and the other reason I don't DU at work----
I cant remember my DU password.

36. Playing blues harp. I used to gig years ago, but let it slide...

But recently, I replaced all my old harps with some really nice Suzuki Bluesmasters and Promasters, dusted off my Fender Junior Pro amp and Shure Green Bullet mike, and got down to business.

It's gonna take awhile to build up my breathing again, and my runs are still a little bit rusty, but I can actually feel it coming back.

And I find myself listening to blues much more often now: Little Walter, Charlie Musselwhite, James Cotton, etc. Musically, it's as much a way of thinking as it is of feeling. :thumbsup:
