Now THAT was a freaking nap.
I'm tellin' ya, I'm the Champion Napper. There should be a title.

Five hours, no problem.

Now the question is getting to sleep tonight.

1. If I took a five-hour nap, there is NO WAY I would sleep that night.
I have a hard enough time sleeping at night as it is.

3. When I do that, I usually go on to sleep another good eight hours that
night. It's my body's way of saying it was worn the hell out and I needed to catch up badly.

I think that's the case right now, since I've been living on 4-5 hours of sleep a night for about two weeks.

Now I'll all groggy. LOL! I kept waking up and thinking "It's Thursday?" I hate that.

9. I hate when I fall asleep in daylight and wake up in the dark.
Once, when I was still working radio, I lay down to take a nap around 2:00 on a Saturday afternoon. I had to work the early shift on Sunday, but I wanted to go out Saturday night, so I thought I should take a nap.

When I woke up, it was pitch dark outside. My clock said 6-twenty-something. I leaped out of bed in a panic, rushing around to throw some jeans on. I call the station and talked to the guy on the air, apologizing for being late and saying I'd be right there. I was supposed to be on the air at 6:00!

Guy on the air was puzzled. He'd just come in to do the 6:00 to 10:00 shift and had no idea what I was talking about. 6:00 to 10:00 SATURDAY NIGHT. It was still Saturday evening, and I thought it was Sunday morning.

2. Nice!
I could use about a 3 hour, myself. 5's pushing it though, if I want to go to sleep before about 4 am :)

Glad you slept well!

6. LMAO
MORE beautiful? Oh as in beauty sleep. Uh.....wait let me check.....no.

Hmm. Dammit.

But no drooly pillow face, either, so there's that. I just woke up thinking it was Thursday morning but wondering why it felt like evening.

8. 5 hours is more than a nap

I'd never be able to get a night's sleep after a nap like that.

I probably will still sleep tonight. I've been wearing myself out lately, time for some serious sleeping.

12. I have found that I can't nap like I used to.
Not unless I'm REALLY tired. And then I just usually decide to keep on sleeping.
