9. Haven't read any recent articles, but
I'd guess it's for filing a false police report.

10. this story is just a distraction from KKKarl's vote fraud and the quagmire
in Iraq.

oh shit, this isn't GD.

in that case, I think she should have gone with heavy wooden clogs, and one of those old victorian dresses.

Also, Is Tom cruise gay?

12. SHE NEVER ASKED ANYONE TO LOOK FOR HER.

I live in GA and my stepdaughter lives in Duluth. You might remember Duluth. It's where the woman lived who hosted the courthouse shooter overnight in her apartment and convinced him to surrender.

The fiance's dad used to be mayor of Duluth and I believe that he's a judge. Duluth is a hotbed of Gwinett County Republicans and fundies. The lard ass woman mayor just loves to appear on Faux news as much as possible.

Since CNN is headquartered in Atlanta, stories like the Courthouse shooter, the Runaway Bride and the Crane Sitter get MAXIMUM coverage.

Now, over here in Athens, a black man and woman have been missing for a couple of years now. They might have a lead on where the bodies are. They are presumed dead at this point. But you know, there is no national or even state-wide coverage for poor black folks.

I'm tired of these Duluth/Gwinett Co. folks complaining about the money they spent to search for her. Taxes are the price that we pay for a civil society. Period. They wouldn't complain if a little lost kid was found and they didn't complain when the courthouse shooter was found in their little town.
:grr: :grr: :grr:

15. My original take on this still holds true -*I think*
The girl got out of the "compound" and now they are trying to reprogram her back to what is "normal" and "expected"-once one of 'em decides to make their own decisions hell they all might.

The family pastor and counselor Dr. Smiley strikes me as a leader in the cult-esque realm. Just a hunch but all the interviews of the fiancee and families remind me of arranged type marriages in them furrin' countries AND of parents/cults trying to bring someone back into the fold. The judge ordered her to continue mental health treatments (WTF is that?).

Imagine just imagine if a 1/5 of the time spent reporting on this was spent even mentioning the Downing Street Memo.

You are right she never did ask to be "saved". It turns out she just wanted to jump back in bed with a one time ;-) boyfriend who lived in New Mexico.

give her an ad contract.

18. Apparently she is a bit FREAKY too
I can't find the article now but a former "boyfriend", a Doctor, was living in Albuquerque and that is why she showed up there. He said he had nothing to do with it but did mention that she has quite the "appetite". ;-)
