Pictures of Ducks and Flowers

Miz Lou_Who came down from Wisconsin to see me this week, and before the weather turned to crap on us, we managed to make it out to wander around Duke Gardens in Durham a bit. As a result, I have pics of pretty flowers and baby ducks, which of course require a lounge thread.



This is either Mom or Dad duck with a few babies who weren't quite ready for deep-water swimming yet. They kept to the muddy shallows, and looked cute.



These guys just finished swimming, and were lined up heading home from the pond.



This is the terrace above the pond where the ducks were swimming.



These are some water lilies.



This is a purty yellow rose.



And in this one, if you look closely, you'll see the prettiest flower in the whole garden that day, standing in front of another pond, smiling a heart-melty smile. :loveya:




So, just as promised, those were pics of ducks and flowers. This thread is now open for discussions of the botanical and/or duck-related variety.
