Did the Daily Show jump the shark last night with Bo Bice?

This guy was absolutely horrible with American Idol and if this all that America's got for singers, we're in trouble.

Last night he was a guest on the Daily show and he was a major goofball.

I was under the impression that this show (like pretty much every talk show EVER) invited guests who were hawking stuff, since that's a good impetus for the guest to accept the invitation.

I'm sure I've seen actors as guests who have movies out that I don't particularly like, but I've never seen threads started saying that the show had somehow jumped the shark because of it.

From what I understand, Carrie Underwood -- who was the winner this year -- was supposed to be on this week.
