I felt much better about eating their ice cream before, although I still eat it from time to time.

5. New Ben&Jerry's store in Ft Worth..profits go to YWCA !

There are about a dozen Ben&Jerry's nonprofit stores across the country; it requires grant applications etc.

The new Ben/Jerry's will employ women who live at the Y (young women who have aged out of foster care, women who are in transition from endangered situations, etc.)and profits all go back to the Y for the support of these programs plus the day care center that takes care of little kids from the homeless shelters while their parents are trying to find jobs/homes/get enough money together to get into an apartment or home.

The grand opening is Friday and Saturday.

I love the names of the flavors too.

I don't think Ben and Jerry 's lost its soul, even if it was sold to Unilever
