The gas pedal is the one on the right, fucker! |

Goddammit, what is wrong with people driving in on the interstate!? Why do people get on it and automatically forget how to drive. I'm so sick of people going 55 in the fast lane where the speed limit is 65. I'm tired of idiots riding my ass because of the dumb ass going 55 in front of me. I want to kill the dipshits who can't seem to fucking MERGE from interstate to interstate. If you would just put your foot on that skinny pedal on the right and just FUCKING GO less of you freaks would be getting into accidents, you stupid fuckers! :grr:  Duckie

3. Sometimes I wish I had a couple... |

Yesterday, this idiot with a couple of Bush stickers on the back of his car PISSED ME OFF. He was in the fast lane going slow until it ended. I had passed him and thought I was rid of him. Then JUST AS THE LANE IS ENDING, the fucker speeds up and gets in front of me...then he slows down. I wanted to knock him off the road. We are going 68 in a 70. I'm going insane. Everyone in the right lane is passing us! So finally, I get over and pass the stupid fucker. He was probably 60 and he had a SWEATER TIED AROUND HIS NECK! He finally got over behind me and I didn't see him again. I had a good laugh though about how fucking dumb he looked. Duckie

4. You know what has always amazed me? |
|
We (as a Society) spend Millions (billions?) on acceleration and de-acceleration lanes and STILL people can't get up to the posted speed when they are entering the interstate and what's even more "Piss-me-off" is you'll see a sticker on the rear of their Car "V8 Magnum" and they drive them like there's a Briggs and Straton Lawnmower engine under the hood..... Plus the idiots start slowing down before they leave the Interstate.
You dumb Shits..That's why they are called De-acceleration lanes.. Agggg!

6. I'm SURE that your going 65 will really make THAT much of a difference |
|
Edited on Thu Jun-02-05 07:41 PM by radwriter0555
and your anger will certain benefit you in many other ways too.
Studies show that you folks that rush get dead a lot more than those of us who mostly take our time, and drive cautiously, on the look out for crazy ass drivers who have no patience, and intimidate us, making us nervous, just so you can get to your destination about 3.5 minutes faster.
What's the rush?
It's not MY fault YOU failed to plan your day adequately so that you didn't have to ram your truck up my ass to get to where your going because you're running late.
We SLOW DOWN because we DO NOT TRUST PEOPLE LIKE YOU who drive poorly, irrationally and aggressively. IT'S aggressive drivers who cause more accidents!
KNOCK ON WOOD, I'm 45 freaking years old and I've never ever (knock wood) caused an accident in almost 30 years of driving.

7. There isn't any rush but (also) there are people who make their living |
|

...by using the highway day in and day out. (No..I'm not one of them.) I drive safely also but I am aware that there are hundreds of cars behind me that are trying to get home to their wife, children ..Etc. When slow drivers insist on staying in the left hand lane they cause a massive amount of cars to start "stacking Up" behind them. I think it's more a question of being a considerate driver than being "in a rush"
On Edit: When People used to ask me "How long does it take you to get to work"... My standard answer was "Well, It takes me about 20 minutes driving safely.. Unfortunately, it takes the Guy in front of me 35 minutes".

19. I don't drive slowly because I'm a poor driver, I drive slower because I |
|
don't trust wild and crazy, unpredictable drivers who are rude and impatient.
When I have the road to myself I blow the carbon out of my cars. I'm a damn good driver too. I have a sports car for pleasure.
I just don't trust anyone else not to act like an asshole.
If people are going too slowly, just pass them.
There is no need to be rude, intimidating and aggressive.
Cheers!

8. I never go speed limit unless I'm on a side street. |
|
I'm going more like 75, with the flow of traffic in the fast lane.
And just so you know, I'm rarely running late, and I'm not an aggressive driver. I very rarely ride anyone's ass, but sometimes it's the only way to get someone out of the fast lane. I've NEVER been in an accident that was my fault, and I've been driving for ten years. The one accident I was in involved a dumb ass woman from the next town north doing a U-Turn on a 2 lane highway without looking to see me coming. I am a very cautious driver. I just wish people would use their brains and not lose their minds every time they get onto the interstate! Duckie

Seriously. Just now. I studied it, and have concluded that you missed the point.
A similar study shows you to have based conclusions on unwarranted assumptions.

Especially the "Speed Monitors." You know, the ones who get in the passing lane and go a steady 68 making me choose to slow down or pass them illegaly. At least there are some troopers who write tickets for goig too slow:7 , but they won't write tickets for riding the left lane:banghead: .

14. Look at a map of WV.... |
|
Dang few cities and even fewer interstates with more than two lanes. Many of those are extra truck lanes for really slow traffic. Riding the left lane is not cool. Someone wants out there, they better keep an eye on their mirror.
BTW, you stumbled onto one of my pet peeves.

is much more helpful than the more aggressive gestures.
When I'm stuck behind a slow bastid in the left lane, I use my left turn sig to tell him I'm ready to pass as soon as he can get over. It's much more polite than tailgating or flashing high beams, (those things just seem to rub people the wrong way) and it works!

Who was driving 25 mph on a 6 lane road, in the left lane. I suppose when you are sitting on your fucking head, it makes it more difficult to figure where the goddamned gas pedal is.
The speed limit there was 45 or 50.
Argh!

when transporting those several-hundred-dollar creations to their locations, I'd have to drive very very very carefully.
You have no idea why that person was driving slowly.
Last year I had to take my dog to the vet with a broken leg, She was screaming at the top of her lungs in pain as the bone pierced the skin. Every little bump and turn caused her to scream horrifically. So I went slowly and carefully.
No one behind me had any idea why I was driving so slowly.
A little consideration and understanding will lower the blood pressure.

21. If someone is going extremely slow, I think it would be courteous |
|
to use their emergency blinkers if they are having a problem, and perhaps avoid the left lane unless they are making a turn, which this driver wasn't.
I understand people might have car problems, etc. I am first to let people merge in, or turn if they are in a parking lot needing to get out.
It is just the ones who act as if they have no idea others are on the road that can bother me.
This person was going through a light with a long line of other vehicles behind who could not make the light due to the extremely slow speed. With emergency blinkers on, perhaps it would have given the drivers he was holding up an indication that there was an issue.
