Baseball/Softball are consuming me.. Help!
Between my daughters softball games and my sons pony league schedule Im drowning in games every freakin night.

Tonight theyre both playing. Luckily they are home games and the fields are in the same park. My wife and I will both take a game and switch up around 7 PM. Anyway between shuttling them around and the games and practice, its consumed my very existence.
:)
Anyone else with these schedules?

1. weekends it's been all baseball --
Saturday, at least -- with each sons' Little League game (T-ball for the youngest, regular "fast pitch" games for my 10 year old...)

My oldest sometimes has Tuesday night games, too -- then there are the practices: Thursday night & Friday. Sometimes their mom takes 'em on Thursday nights, but usually it's me, since I'm with them every weekend -- good thing I love baseball!

And next week: "play-offs" and season-end pizza parties!

3. Give in to it . . . Enjoy it
Believe me, there will come a time when you'll miss these moments. My kids are grown now. I know I miss taking my son & daughter to their baseball games/softball games/dance classes/soccer games, etc.

sometimes the rushing and the clock and the kids losing uniform socks or gloves makes it hard to see the fun it is.

But Im gonna take a deep breath and enjoy the moment. Ya know, I coached first base tonight and it was fun. I enjoyed it because it seemed like it was over really fast tonight. So maybe all of us could learn to start enjoying life more. Thanks for the advice

Oh btw, my daughters team lost and my sons won. Both close . Now my sons gloating to his sister. Gotta love that sibling rivalry
