Has anyone heard of it?

I was told it's a site where you can download all sorts of stuff from screenplay software to music:shrug:

Very similar file sharing type program/system.

7. If you use Limewire Pro and not the free version, it's perfectly fine.
The free version will install spyware.

4. STAY AWAY FROM LIMEWIRE!!!
They put some serious spyware/adware on your PC. A friend put it on his PC - I had to wipe his hard drive & reload everything from scratch to get rid of it.

6. No, your friend installed the FREE version of Limewire
Limewire Pro is entirely spyware free and works perfectly. I've been using it for 2 years with no issues at all.
