4. Our lab had NINE..and we did not even advertize them until they
were 10 weeks and had gotten their shots.. Tasha (Mom) nursed them until we made her stop.. She would have 100 lbs of puppies hanging off her:) Bless her heart..

The vet commented on how "lean" she was and asked when she weaned them, because she still had milk.. I told him she was still nursing them.. He said..Make her STOP..Those pups weighed over 10# apiece by then..

6. So... how many did YOU end up keeping?

We kept two.. a yellow and a black.. One was donated to the "Guide Dogs of the Desert" and became a great seeing eye dog. We were able to meet her "person" later on..he lived a few miles from us.

Labs are the best :)

8. Labs are great dogs, but I am biased.
Rottweilers rule!! At least, mine does. She is the best dog ever.
