My father, Vietnam vet, also knows how stuff works, and as the father of two daughters, he bought each of us our first cars, but wouldn't allow us to drive them until we could demonstrate: A) That we could change the oil, change a flat, and check all of the fluid levels and fuses ourselves; and B) Defend ourselves coherently and politely (without crying) if we ever were stopped by the police for any reason.

Military: I'm a total pacifist. But respect is due and the uniforms are kinda cute.

Motors: Any guy who can't manage mechanics needs to turn in his Y chromosome. I'm a major fag but give me a screwdriver and a hammer..... I can fix anything, I can make anything, I am the poster boy for testosterone.

Cosmos: Yeah, well, I used to drink vodka and tequila outa the bottle, but now most of my drinks are pretty girly too.....

15. Never Tried a Cosmo

although the recipe sounds appealing:

* 3/4 oz vodka
* 1/2 oz triple sec
* 1 oz cranberry juice
* 1/2 oz lime juice

I have been known to drink a green apple martini now and then (but refuse to call it an 'appletini').
