5. my son's cat is a ruthless hunter
and constantly leaves me "presents." Last week it was a catbird. Made me very sad.

Though if he wasn't I'd have a major mouse problem in the winter.

When he's seriously injured them it's always a major ethical dilemma. . .It makes no sense to "rescue" them and return them to the wild to hemmorage to death. But the playful slow and cruel torture is somewhat hard to bare witness to.

Life in the jungle/food chain. . .ya know.

7. collars on country kitties
are really not a good idea. . .they end up lynched by branches in their chipmunk chasing escapades. not a pretty sight.

8. Yeah, they do have those breakaway collars
but my dude will have them off in minutes. So it's "Tough shit, my sonic feathered friends, once again you are breakfast - if Minou decides there's enough meat on you to pick off the bone".

10. chin up. . .toxic environmental conditions that * pretends do not exist
are causing far more injuries, danger, and fatalities to our fine furry and feathered friends than all the felines on the planet combined.

My cat stays in the house. Is this a copycat thread...because I don't really see the humor.

21. Not everything in the lounge has to be funny
Maybe I'll post that my favoritest Uncle died tomorrow.
Or that I stubbed my toe.
Or that I'm bored, and am in need of entertainment.
