18. Do yourself a favor-get to Algood, Tennessee

Just east of Cookeville, on Hwy. 111 about three miles north of I-40. Exit to the east and just in front of the new Wal-Mart is a gas station. Inside is an innocuous little place called Bubba Peppers. The pulled pork is great, and the Big Orange Cole Slaw is utterly unique and can't even be described. Worth driving out of the way for. I eat there a lot.
