IT'S OVER!
Edited on Sat Jun-04-05 09:41 PM by WindRavenX
Maybe the not-so thinly veiled threat of nuking the finance department of BC worked, but the loan went thru and as of today, I am STILL a member of the Arts and Science class of 2007 with my classes all registered for fall semester.
I still got into my most desired class-virology.
The Yankees won.
I'm full of chinese food.
I feel fuckin' amazing.
I just had to share the news that the nightmare is OVER!
:bounce:

11. the study of viruses
One of my favorite areas of biology. I LOVE viruses- they're absolutely facinating. They're not alive, they're not dead; they're on the cusp between life and death. They're just nucleic acid and some protein.

It's a good thing you have that behind you, you'll be needed to stoke up the microwave for some more Chinese pretty soon.

Happy to hear good news, always.

Didn't a lot of people here tell you things would get better, when you were down & out a couple of weeks ago?

Good things happen to good people. The wheel of Karma goes round and round, and is taking you to the top right now.

Want to know why? It's because you're NOT asking for a winning lottery ticket, you're NOT asking for a McMansion on the beach, you're NOT asking for that big old Mercedes-Benz; you're just asking to be able to work hard and study in a field of learning that can benefit other people, and a simple Chinese dinner, and ONE win (finally) by your favorite baseball team.

Karma rewards those who ask for little, and offer much.

Enjoy your night.

12. Smirnie? Is that the coolest name for a fish (or other pet)
I've ever heard of, or what?

Duckling is sleeping on my stomach right now. Damn it, I am NOT going to sleep sitting up on the couch tonight, the little booger will just have to have to sleep in the birdcage, and I mean it!

But he / she's so comfortable there under my shirt, where it's nice and warm...

13. Heh, his "tank" is a Smirnoff vodka bottle filled with water
He's my mascot, obviously.
Maybe the RAs wouldn't notice if I had a little ducky in my room...

14. I have a little ducky if you want one,
though you'll probably have to fight the Little Guy for it, and he's a real scrapper.
