Penn Jillette names daughter Moxie CrimeFighter
What...the...fuck? That has to be some form of child abuse.

1. I think its a joke.
For one thing, I didn't think he was married.

2. I wouldn't doubt that
And the more I think about it, the more I'm torn between child abuse and coolest name ever, haha.

3. "Moxie" isn't the stupidest first name I've ever heard
People name girls (especially) after characterisics all of the time (Faith, Prudence, Joy, Hope). It isn't any stranger than naming a child after a month or a season, and much better (IMO) than choosing some random word like "Apple."

"Crimefighter" as a middle name, is, of course, nuts.

4. Yeah, the CrimeFighter is the one that gets me
But the more I think about it, the more I like it, oddly.

5. At least he didn't name her Moon Unit Jillette
What can I say? I've met Penn briefly - he's a nice guy deep down, but definitely eccentric. And outspoken.

6. Haha, yeah, I like the guy
I love Bullshit (even though I don't always agree with him on some stuff).

7. I can deal with "Moxie" to some degree, but that middle name is
child abuse.

I was teased mercifully about my first m\name (and still am by some dimwitted adults), and I have a resonaly normal first name.

I hope Moxie has enough of it in her to give dad a piece of her mind about sticking her with that name.
