I'm an old fart (pushing 60). When I'm driving, and hear Green Day on the radio, and I crank up the volume, I feel like I'm 20 years old again. These guys have it all! They are really exciting!
I live in the Bay Area, so I've been listening to them for a while, but their new stuff is just awesome. It’s nice to see them so successful.

FWIW, I agree they've become damn solid songwriters.
