What's your favorite dessert?
I had peanut butter cheesecake at a restaurant the other night. It is to die for. (It also probably shortened my lifespan).

2. That sounds delicious.
My favorite desserts are pies and cobblers, though I am also fond of cakes, cookies, bread pudding, and such.

6. Tiramisu.
Unforunately (but forunately for my health and "girlish figure") my husband is the tiramisu chef in our house, so we only have it once or twice a year.

9. My momma's homemade chocolate cake...
the recipe is out of a Better Homes and Gardens Cookbook from back in the 50s and it is dense and rich and to die for. Mmmmmm...*drool*

I'm also quite fond of chocolate cheesecake and chocolate ice cream with Oreo cookies crumbled up on top.

11. Pavlova, how did I miss it?,
how did I live this long without anyone mentioning it? I'll have a new favorite tomorrow, but for today the meringue base with a soft center, filled with heavy cream and fresh strawberries is the ultimate. What other treats are the Aussie's keeping from us?

14. The Kalahari
Duh, dessert. :silly:

I'm going to have to go with lemon tart - has to be incredibly harshly acidicly lemony and not overly sweet, served with lashings of cream, and a glass of freezing cold sauternes.
