I just saw "Capturing the Friedmans"
What a bunch dipshits those brothers are. I felt just terrible for the mother... all they did was pick on the poor woman. She was the only one not in denial about what happened, and they made her pay for it.

1. I felt sorry for both her and the son who got convicted
I think it is highly likely something happened, though the stories were a tad ridiculous. But I also was very doubtful the kid did anything.

2. But didn't he admit it to his lawyer?
That's what the lawyer said.

3. He had to in order to plea
but frankly I don't think he did anything and figured he would be convicted anyway.

4. I saw that show for the first time last month!
It was soooo depressing! I really didn't know what to make of it myself, I never could convince myself totally that anything did or didn't happen, but I also agree, whatever happened, I think the kid was just sticking up for family no matter what, and that was what was kinda heartbreaking about the whole story is how the family ('cept of course for the poor wife/mother) were so bonded to each other.

Not like my family . . .

5. That was one f*cked-up story...
Depressing, but a great film.
