What are the stories tonight?
I'll be at a friend's house eating her food and watching a Charles Bronson movie when it's on here.

5. Those laywers who are suing are so |
|
brave! :scared: Nice to see guys in the military righteously fighting the system! Honestly, I thought even trying that was illegal if you're in the military.

9. In my opinion, those in uniform would be the first to oppose Bush |
|
on this issue.
The military takes an oath to defend and protect the Constitution in spite of politics.
The criminals that committed the attrocities in Abu Gharib and Guantamamo are the exeption and not the rule.
But most importantly, the military never wanted to go into Iraq.
The blame squarely lies at the feet of Bush and his cronies.
Same goes for torture.
I know that a lot of folks on DU have said some pretty harsh things about bad behavior by the troops, and I understand the emotion.
As far as I'm concerned, the focus should ALWAYS be on Bush. The troops have done these things in HIS NAME.

11. When you only have access to Fox and Limbaugh for "news", |
|
it's not hard to understand why some in the military feel the way they do.. propaganda always works..

And have voted with our feet
If it wasn't for stop loss, a lot more would be history

6. Round'm up. Give them a fake trial. Then lose them in jail forever. |
|
Is that what the administration has in mind for the court system. That's some activist stuff they got going there.

but what a terrible position to be in. The whole thing is a charade. "Exigencies of war", my ass.
