gingers and orange tabbies
include dilute torties w/ plenty of orange
or calicos with stripes in their orange patches...

here are ours:

1. I have an orange tabby with white markings
His name is Oliver. I have no photos though -- I don't have a digital camera. Maybe later this year, after I've paid off some bills.
I just loved Orange kitties

19. That's interesting
because I just adopted my friend's mom's ginger and his name is also Oliver! I've taken to calling him Ollie most of the time though. He's a long hair, with a particularly cute face. I'll post some pics later when I get a chance to take some.

45. I'd love to see the pictures
My cat was named after Oliver Twist. They were both orphans. When I first met my Oliver, he mewed at me, reminded me Oliver Twist asking for "more."

6. Spot --does that refer
to the big round tummy?
BTW, my Oliver has the same white markings but he's a classic Tabby, not a Mackeral Tabby like your late boy.

24. Of course!
Up until the adopted kits, all my own have been named after TV characters through the years. The current group has Jean Luc , Jessica , Delenn and Garibaldi. A couple of years ago, I lost Dax and Kira.

46. Patience, yes
Soft, not so much. His coat is very thick, almost similar to a wild cat's fur.

He always seems (in pics, anyhow) to have a lot of wisdom behind his eyes. It's relatively true--like PL Picard, he'd rather negotiate than go to war......hmmmmm.....that's a unique thought. ;)

26. Amos

When he was only a kitten, Amos stood in a bowl of cream and permanently stained his paws white! He also spilled some on his muzzle and down his chest. Before that happened, he had been completely orange.

29. Got A Pumpkin Tabby
Edited on Mon Jun-06-05 08:46 AM by ProfessorGAC
Sorry, got no place to post pix. But, we've had Josephine for about 8 or 9 years. Sweet cat. A little skittish around the dog, though. The others are fine with the beast, but not the orange one.

She is the 2nd orange tabby we've had. All of our cats have been DSHT's except one had a lot of Russian Blue in her.
