4. You can always hope.
Could be worse-I was a chaperone for my kids preschool class a month ago on a zoo trip. Now that was bad!

7. "Momma! Momma!"
"What baby?"
"What are those two monkeys doing? Is that a boy monkey or a girl monkey?"
"Oh dear Lord! Kids, lets go see the snakes instead."
Real conversation on the trip. Guess what the boy monkey and the girl monkey were doing?

8. HAHAHA!
 Thank goodness the extent of animals we're going to see will be owls! I'd probably tell the girls to go home and ask their moms. :D

:D Yeah, it's no Six Flags or anything like that, but it's the best East TN has to offer. You could come with us. lol

9. You will not go wrong by taking young ones out for amusement!
Giving them your TIME is one of the greatest things you can do.

:hi:

10. Awww, thank you.
:) Thanks for putting it into perspective for me.

I guess I'm just worried about losing my patience or something.

11. good god and good luck!
two years ago, my then 9 year old and i drove from nm to nc to see my mother (she was turning 90!). on the way home, we made a detour from asheville through cherokee, cosby, tn (where my daughter was born), gatlinburg, pigeon forge and sevierville. well, NEXT TIME, i will do it in the dark! when she saw pigeon forge, she wanted to stop (naturally!), and i SO did not want to! so, if you are going with THREE preteens, i wish you well!

12. Thank you!
:D

Good grief! I can't believe you took a 9 year old through Pigeon Forge! With all the mini golf and shops, you're lucky you got out of there! :D It's much worse these days, tons more mini golf places and go cart rentals. *sigh* It's going to be a long (but fun) day! (and I actually live about 10 minutes from Sevierville so I get to run into the tourists ALL The time!)
