and then you can put all your pictures from your comp files on said account.

You cannot post a picture which is only on your hard drive -- it needs to be uploaded to a web server. (Photobucket is a free service.)

install apache or some other webserver. visit dyndns.org and read up and choose a subdomain name for yourself. move files you wish to post someplace, like DU, to your webserver's document root. post pictures with url that points to your dyndns domainname with forward slash separated path to the file within your document root.
Be the webserver that you wish to see in the world, as they say.
