No hair salons are open on Monday's in this area and I'm worse with scissors than she is

It doesn't look as bad as it could have - it is somewhat symetrical. BUT STILL: A MULLET

a mall with one of those hair places. You can go and have her hair fixed and eat a good meal. What an adventure.

She is still beautiful and what wonderful eyes. You must be so proud.

She started with me! x( I still have the holes she made in my ears when I was 7 and she was 12. I had to have them re-done (by a professional) because she did them totally off-center. So now I have two holes in each ear.

29. Thank you, Jessica. That's very kind. I guess I'm grateful
she doesn't have school tomorrow and I can get this fixed then.

I never did this as a kid. The worst thing I ever did was take a full roll of toilet paper and walk around the house unwinding it. In our house, you could walk in a circle going from room to room and I wanted to see how many times I could go around with a full roll. "Quite a few" would be the correct answer :o

37. Cute kid!
My daughter has taken scissors to hair more than once. I feel your pain. She once tried to trim her bangs while Dad was watching her...when I came home from work they were much too short and all crooked. She told me Daddy did it...he had trimmed her bangs a week before.

She's nine now, and just last week I found a doll with her legs cut off and her hair scalped. she snuck the scissors into her room, which she knows is a no-no.

So far (knock wood) I have been lucky enough to escape this. The only thing that has been cut has been Barbie's hair.

Knowing my 3 yr old, though... I know it is only a matter of time. :scared: And I bet it will be my 10 yr old daughter whose hair he goes after.

Good luck finding a salon. She's awfully cute, even with the mullet.

49. Well, at least she couldn't reach those curls in the back!
LOL! Sorry to laugh, but most of us who are parents have been there.

My son did MY hair when he was about three. I was dozing on the couch and I felt this gentle tugging. My hair was really long, and he liked to "pet" it and I thought that's what he was doing. Then I suddenly recognized the "snip" sound. I jumped up and this hank of hair fell off!

Fortunately, because I was lying down, the part he cut was sort of under the rest and didn't show...much. :D
